The objectives of the County Arts Office which are reflected in a wide range of programmes and initiatives are:-

• To create an environment that supports and provides a platform for the professional artist. 
• To foster excellence in the practice of the arts. 
• To establish links, formal and informal between professional artists and the community. 
• To provide access and encourage active participation by the community of County Limerick in the arts.
