Contact Details for Non Principal Private Residence



The Local Government (Charges) Act 2009 has given effect to the introduction of a €200 charge on Non Principal Private Residences (NPPR).

For 2009, the liability date was 31st July 2009 and late payment penalties are applied, each month, after the 31st October 2009.

For 2010, The liability date is 31st March 2010, and the 31st of March for each subsequent year. For the 2010 liability late payment penalties apply, each month, after the 30th June 2010.

Please note that late payment penalty fees are due on each €200 liability not paid.

It is recommended that owner(s) of non-principal private residence use the on-line payment option at www.nppr.ie to register and pay.
