There are 28 members on the Council - 7 members in the Adare and Castleconnell Electoral Areas, 5 members in the Newcastle and Rathkeale Electoral Areas and 4 members in the Kilmallock Electoral Area.
Council Meetings are normally held on the fourth Monday of each month (except August when there is no meeting) in the Council Chamber at County Hall.
