Limerick County Council's landfill is at Gortadroma, Ballyhahill, County Limerick, (approximately 3 miles from the village of Shanagolden).

Opening hours are 8.00am to 3.30pm including lunch time (Monday to Friday).
Waste Disposal: Minimum Charge = €14.76 per car, all other vehicles = Pay by Weight, €110 per tonne plus VAT i.e.€124.
The following item(s) may be recycled at the landfill:
Glass, drink/food cans, cardboard/newspaper, textiles, tetra paks, metal, plastic bottles.
Charges: €5.68 per car, €13.62 per car & trailer/light van.
The following materials are also accepted at the landfill:
White Goods (cookers/fridges/washing machines/dryers)
Garden Waste (grass cuttings, trimmings etc).

Please note that Gortadroma Landfill will be open on Good Friday, 6th April from 8.00am to 3.30pm, including lunch time, and will be closed on Saturday 7th April and Monday 9th April.
