Higher Education Grants 2011-2012
New Application Academic Year 2011/2012
The Higher Education Grants Scheme for the 2011-2012 Academic Year was released by the Department of Education & Skills on 28th June, 2011. Students can download a hard copy of the application to complete by clicking on either of the following links

Unfortunately, we have not received hard copies of the application form from the Department of Education and Skills so we cannot make them available for collection.
Limerick County Council do not have an online application facility.
The Higher Education Grants Scheme provides financial assistance to students in approved third level colleges. You should apply to the Local Authority in your area if you have applied for or will be attending an approved course in one of the following institutions in the 2011/2012 academic year:
A University.
A prescribed Educational Institution in Ireland (e.g. a college of education).
An approved Undergraduate Course in an approved Educational Institution in the EU.
An approved Postgraduate Course in an approved Educational Institution in Northern Ireland.
You should apply to County Limerick V.E.C. if you have applied for or will be attending an approved course in one of the following institutions in the 2011/2012 academic year:
An approved post-leaving certificate (PLC) centre.
An Institute of Technology.
It should be noted that applications cannot be processed without all the required documentation. Incomplete applications will be returned as Invalid.
The closing date for receipt of completed applications is Wednesday, 31st August, 2011 at 4.30 p.m.
