3rd or Subsequent Learner Permit



Persons applying for a 3rd/subsequent Learner Permit are required to produce the following:
 
  1. Application form: Completed Application form.
  2. Two identical Passport photographs:The reverse of both photographs must be signed by you.
  3. Current Licence: Current or most recently issued licence or if lost a form stamped by the Gardai.
  4. Driving Test: Acknowledgement of an Application for a Driving Test or (for a 1yr licence) or evidence of having undergone a test within the last 2yrs, (for a 2yr licence).
  5. Fee: €15.
    No fee for applicants over 70 years of age.
  6. PPSN: Formerly called your RSI number.

Please note that persons granted a third or subsequent Learner Permit must be accompanied by a qualified driver.
