In accordance with Section 10 of the Road Traffic Act 2004, notice is hereby given that a Road Works Speed Limit Order has been made applying temporary speed limits, in the interest of road safety, at road works on the N7 and N52 Nenagh and around the Carrigatogher interchange applying the following Road Works Speed Limits.
A temporary speed limit of 100km/h will apply to road works on N7 (Nenagh Bypass) from a point 670m east of Lahesseragh Bridge, Nenagh for a distance of 350m (Limerick Bound) to a point 320m east of the Lahesseragh Bridge. The area of works is on the N7, Nenagh Bypass.
A temporary speed limit of 80km/h will apply to road works on N7 (Nenagh Bypass) from a point 320m east of the Lahesseragh Bridge, Nenagh for a distance of 350m (Limerick Bound) to a point 30m west of the Lahesseragh Bridge. The area of works is on the N7, Nenagh Bypass.
A temporary speed limit of 60km/h will apply to road works on N7 (Nenagh) from a point 30m west of the Lahesseragh Bridge, Nenagh for a distance of 2963m to a point 1050m south west of the junction of the N7 with the new southern roundabout at Carrigatogher (Limerick Bound). The area of works is on the N7, Nenagh Bypass and Carrigatogher Interchange.
A temporary speed limit of 60km/h will apply to road works on N7 (Nenagh) from a point 1050m south west of the junction of the N7 with the new southern roundabout at Carrigatogher, Nenagh for a distance of 2963m to a point 30m west of the Lahesseragh Bridge, N7 Nenagh (Dublin Bound). The area of works is on the N7, Carrigatogher Interchange and Nenagh Bypass.
A temporary speed limit of 60km/h will apply to road works on N52 (Tullaheady, Nenagh) from a point at the junction of the N52 with the new southern roundabout at Carrigatogher to a point 470m north east of the junction of the new northern roundabout at Carrigatogher with the N52 at Tullaheady, Nenagh (in both directions). This total distance will be 948m.
A temporary speed limit of 60km/h will apply to road works on L-6061-0 (Nenagh) from the junction at the new northern roundabout on the N52 at Carrigatogher, North West for a distance of 150m at Tullaheady, Nenagh.
These temporary speed limits will apply from 10th December, 2009 to 18th October 2010.
The County Manager shall have regard to any representations that are made to him in relation to the Road Works Speed Limit Order.
