- Newcastle West outdoor swimming pool now completely secured from the publics safety perspective
- New Pollution Monitor installed in Abbeyfeale
Derelict Sites
- 40 Derelict Sites identified and improved in NCW and A/Feale since Jan 04
- 25 more DSites identified in smaller villages in the Newcastle West Electoral Area – work to commence on these in the New Year
- Pat Naughton, Caretaker in Mountcollins and Tournafulla will retire in December and Noel O Gorman will indirectly replace Pat. We wish both well.
- The new water/meck/elec stores are now complete in the Newcastle West Sewerage Treatment Plant
