What is the County Development Plan?

A County Development Plan sets out an overall strategy for the proper planning and sustainable development of the County. The legal basis for the plan is set out in the Planning and Development Act 2000. In the making of the Plan the Council is required to carryout:

Widespread Public Consultation
Adhere to strick timeframes
Ensure consistency with other plans
