Welcome to the Planning and Development Section. The principal objectives of the Section are:

  • to plan for and ensure that all developments permitted in County Limerick are designed to the highest quality standards thereby providing balance and sustainability within the County
  • to provide an efficient, accessible, and transparent service to all our customers


The Planning Public Counter is open from 9.30am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday. Telephone hours are from 9.30am to 4.00pm. Telephone No.: 061 49 63 47; Fax No.: 061 49 60 06

Our Planning Validation Facility is available from 10.00am to 2.00pm Monday to Friday at the Public Counter.
