A schedule listing all plans, drawings and maps which are accompanying the application is to be included.

- All plans, drawings and maps must be in metric scale as per Local Government (Planning & Development) Regulations, 2001.
- The North point shall be indicated on all maps and plans other than drawings of elevations and sections.
- Plans and drawings shall indicate the name and address of the person by whom they were prepared.
- A planning application for development consisting of the carrying out of works to a protected, proposed protected structure or candidate protected structure which is located within an Architectural Conservation Area must be accompanied by such photographs, plans and other particulars as are necessary to show how the development would affect the character of the structure.
- Additional copies of any plan, drawing, map, photograph or other particular which accompanies the planning application may be required by the planning authority.
- An outline application shall include one copy each of the newspaper notice and site notice, 6 copies each of site location and site layout maps and other plans and particulars as are necessary to enable the planning authority to make a decision in relation tothe proposed development.
- If improvement works have to be carried out to the proposed entrance to the site to achieve adequate sight lines, it is necessary to show these improvements on a site layout map and to submit a letter of consent from relevant landowners, for any proposed improvements outside the site boundary.
- If a site does not adjoin the public road, please submit documentary evidence of right-of-way.
- Where the proposal involves any change to ground level, please detail and submit the appropriate drawings.
- Where Electricity Supply Board lines traverse the site, please submit a letter from the Electricity Supply Board indicating there is no objection to the proposed development.
- Where a site is located within a Zone of Archaeological Interest or close to an archaeological monument, an archaeological report by a licensed archaeologist, approved by the Development Applications Unit, will be required.
- If the site lies within a Natural Heritage Area, a Special Area of Conservation or a Special Protection Area for Birds, an assessment of the ecological impact of the proposed development will be required.
- Please submit details if the proposed development involves the production of Hazardous Waste as defined by the Waste Regulations.
- If the applicant is a company the names of the company directors, the registered address and the Companies Office Registration Number must be submitted.
- Housing Strategy Exemption Certificate(Part V), if applicable.
