Commencement Notice
A commencement notice should be completed and received by the Building Control Section not less that 14 days and not more that 28 days before the starting date of the development works. The notice must be accompanied by the relevant fee.
It is only after this notice is submitted and when conditions that require compliance prior to the commencement of development are met in a manner that is to the satisfaction of the Planning Authority, that development work can commence.
