Notice is hereby given in accordance with the Waste Water Discharge (Authorisation) Regulations, 2007 (S.I. No. 684 of 2007), that Limerick County Council, County Hall, Dooradoyle, County Limerick is making an application to the Environmental Protection Agency (the Agency), for a Waste Water Discharge Licences.
This application relates to the wastewater works consisting of the Athea Waste Water Treatment Plant located in Athea, County Limerick (Grid Ref: 112478E, 135553N) which provides primary treatment to sewage from the Athea area and its environs. The Primary Discharge Point is located in the townland of Templeathea West, approximately 0.5km downstream of Athea Bridge on the R524 Regional Road at Athea, County Limerick at Grid Ref: 112392E, 135549N and discharges to the Galey River.
