1. CHARGES FOR WATER CONSUMPTION FOR 2011
STANDARD CHARGES FOR INVOICE JULY TO DECEMBER 2011 TO ISSUE FEBRUARY 2012.
In respect of connections to the Council Water Network and Sewerage System
€200 per annum meter charge plus €2.60 per cubic meter of water supplied.
In respect of connections to the Council Water Network only
€200 per annum meter charge plus €1.15 per cubic meter of water supplied.
In respect of connections to the Council Sewerage Network only
€200 per annum meter charge plus €1.45 per cubic meter of water supplied to or used on the premises.
2. NEW CHARGES FOR WATER CONSUMPTION FOR 2012
This will affect the water invoices from Limerick County Council:
• For January to June 2012 consumption - to issue July 2012
• For July to December 2012 - to issue February 2013

€200 per annum each per first two connections, €100 per meter each per annum for any subsequent meters, per customer account, plus €2.60 per cubic meter of water supplied.

€200 per annum each per first two connections, €100 per meter each per annum for any subsequent meters, per customer account, plus €1.15 per cubic meter of water supplied.

In respect of connections to the Council Sewerage Network only

* 1m³ water = 1,000 litres or 220 gallons approx
CONSUMER RESPONSIBILTY
Please note that leaks are the responsibility of the consumer and you will be charged for all the consumption on your meter. It is in your interest to conserve your water consumption and check your meter regularly to ensure that you have no leaks on your property. If leaks are found please ensure that you carry out the necessary repair work immediately as you will be charged for usage.
