The Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government has signed the County of Limerick Local Electoral Areas Order 2008 giving effect to the changes outlined in the Electoral Area Boundary Committee Report 2008. In accordance with the Electoral Polling Scheme Regulations 2005, Limerick County Council adopted the revised Polling Scheme for County Limerick at a meeting on 19th December, 2008. The following maps detail the revised local areas along with polling districts, electoral divisions and polling places.
