Special Voting applies to electors living in a hospital or nursing home who have a physical illness or disability which prevents them from going to a polling station. Applications must be made to Limerick County Council on Form SV1 in respect of Limerick City Environs and County. The closing date for receipt of such applications is 25th November and a new application must be made each year.
